Persons traveling the Hudson River are afforded the opportunity to temporarily moor their vessels at Hyde Park Landing.
There are two Transient Moorings available (refer to map). Each has its own mooring pennants attached to a blue Styrofoam float. The northernmost is for larger boats, up to 44 feet in length. The more southerly transient mooring is for boats up to 33 feet in length.
| DO NOT ATTACH TO THE TOP LIFTING RING ON THE MOORING BUOY. IT IS NOT ATTACHED TO THE MOORING CHAIN WITH FITTINGS THAT WILL WITHSTAND THE LOADS WHICH YOUR BOAT WILL APPLY TO THE MOORING SYSTEM. |

There is plenty to see and do (refer to the Visitor Information Pages: Out & About, Dining, Shopping), and the sunsets are magnificent.
The rate for use of a transient mooring is found in the section on Hyde Park Landing Rates. It is the honor system here. Leave your payment at the Hyde Park Landing Office. If no one is around, leave it in the box provided (Steel Balls).
When you leave, make sure to attach the blue float to the pennants and allow them to float free so they will be available for the next voyager.
