Persons traveling the Hudson River are afforded the opportunity to temporarily moor their vessels at Hyde Park Landing.
There are two Transient Moorings available (refer to map). Each has its own mooring pennants attached to a blue Styrofoam float. The northernmost is for larger boats, up to 44 feet in length. The more southerly transient mooring is for boats up to 33 feet in length.

There is plenty to see and do (refer to the Local Destination Pages: Out & About, Mind & Body Dining, Shopping), and the sunsets are magnificent.
When you come ashore, go directly to the “Transient Information” side of the kiosk next to the main gate on River Road to get instructions on how to get out, and then back in through the automatic gate. You will need a code to get back in, and the instructions provide information on that, as well as transportation, where you are, where you can go, etc. Refer to the “Rates & Access” section of this website for gate operating details.
The rate for use of a transient mooring is found in the section on Hyde Park Landing Rates. It is the honor system here. Leave your payment at the Hyde Park Landing Office. If no one is around, leave it in the box provided (Steel Balls).
When you leave, make sure to attach the blue float to the pennants and allow them to float free so they will be available for the next voyager.
